Cast: Yogi Babu, Sheela Rajkumar
Director: Madonne Ashwin
A movie with a message and entertainment.
Started watching it out of curiosity on Netflix, turned out to be quite interesting. Even if you don’t know the language, still you can watch it with subtitles and will understand all the emotions behind it.
The story starts with a small village (Soorangudi) where Yogi Babu workes as a Barbar, having a dream of opening his own salon. And to accomplish that dream he does all kind of work in that village as a selfless person, not knowing his real name and getting insulted by almost everyone.
But the table turns with the upcoming village elections as his vote can decide the fate of political parties.
The movie shows different mind set of a person with different situations. How someone corrupts with a sudden fame or money? What a single vote can do? Is the public really powerful enough? All these questions confront us many times in the movie and answered beautifully.

Amazing performances by everyone on the set makes it a must watch on my list. A movie with a message. Even as a non-tamil, if you watch it with the subtitles you will understand it easily. The body language of the movie explains it all, which is the best part about it.
